Job Description Job Description Vision for the Role: The Hume Lake Painter plays a vital role in maintaining the upkeep of Hume facilities in order to ensure a distraction-free environment for campers and guests. This individual is responsible for the preparation and painting of Hume Lake facilities, which may include buildings, signs, floors, etc. in a detailed, precise manner. Why Join Us? Work in a supportive Christian community in a beautiful environment that values faith, growth, and relationships. The Role: Preparation and painting of facilities, signs and floors. Keeping accurate records in compliance of any applicable permits. (Air Pollution Control, MSDS, Etc.) Follow all safety procedures and directions provided by supervisors. Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, contributing to a Christ-centered team environment. Represent Hume Christian Camps’ values and mission through conduct, attitude, and service. Perform other related duties and assignments as required Our Ideal Candidate: Must be at least 18 years old at the start of Summer Camp Evidenced commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel with others. Minimum 2 years as a Journeyman Painter. Experience with drywall patch and repair. Experience with snow Removal Must be able to live in Hume Lake housing. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Willingness to perform physical tasks and work outdoors or indoors as needed. Dependable, punctual, and able to work under supervision. Must agree with and support Hume Christian Camps’ Statement of Faith. Must have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel through word and deed. Physical Requirements: This position must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to100 lbs. Live and work in extreme weather conditions, at high altitude, and in small living quarters.
