Job Description: Top-Tier West Coast Geotechnical Engineering, Site Development and Materials Testing Company actively seeks experienced Construction Soils Field Technician for our Clovis or Bakersfield, CA offices. We are looking for candidates who have a proven track record, strong work-ethic with a professional attitude. The ideal candidate will have construction Soils testing experience for a geotechnical engineering or materials testing company. Construction Soils Field Technician Qualifications and Experience Requirements: - Physically able to regularly lift and /or move up to 75 lbs. - Must be insurable under company vehicle policy. Valid Certificates: - Nuclear Density Gauge - ACI Field Testing Technician - Preferred (may train the right candidate). The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company provided training and mentoring. Construction Soils Field Technician Role and Responsibilities: - Performing QA/QC field observations while work is in progress following design reports and documents, collecting samples using a gauge to determine moisture density content, and delivering samples for laboratory testing. - During the testing and observation process, prepare accurate and detailed documentation and submit daily for review.
