What You ll Do

• Provide a full range of primary care physician services within granted privileges.
• Examine, diagnose, treat, and prescribe within scope of training, experience, and privileges.
• Deliver preventive care and health maintenance, including annual physicals and education/counseling.
• Order appropriate diagnostic tests and coordinate referrals/consultations as indicated.
• Provide primary care for neonatal to geriatric patient populations.
• Complete administrative and clinical primary care assessments (including screenings/physical exams as required).
• Coordinate urgent/emergent patient needs, including arranging appropriate emergent transportation when care exceeds MTF capability.

What You Need
Required

• M.D. or D.O.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a Family Practice setting (within the past 5 years)
• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any state
• Board eligibility required (board certification preferred; acceptable boards listed in the original posting)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Ability to pass a Government background check and obtain a Government security clearance

Preferred

• Board certification (American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Family Practice, American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians)
