Job Description:
Encompass Health is looking for a dedicated Speech Language
Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team, focused on providing
top tier rehabilitation services. In this role, you will work
closely with patients recovering from major health events such as
strokes and injuries, helping them regain communication skills and
functional independence. Our commitment to personalized patient

in their rehabilitation process. You will assess patient
conditions, create and implement therapy plans, and collaborate
with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Evaluate patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and
swallowing skills to gather diagnostic information. Develop and
implement treatment plans based on patient-specific needs and
goals. Educate patients and family members about communication
techniques and strategies. Maintain accurate records and
documentation of patient treatments and progress. Collaborate with
other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care. Participate
in continuing education and professional growth activities.
Proficiency in various diagnostic tools and rehabilitation
techniques for speech disorders. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a
multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of electronic health records
(EHR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
(CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
(ASHA).
