Position We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant
for an exciting 90-day assignment starting May 4, 2026, in
California. This role involves managing 6-8 twelve-hour shifts per
month, with options for 9a-9p or 11a-11p schedules. The Physician
Assistant will be integral to patient care within a trauma center,
handling a diverse range of acute conditions and contributing to
both intake and direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties Provide patient care across 6-8
twelve-hour shifts per month. Work effectively in POD B (11A-11P)
alongside a Registered Nurse. Manage a variety of cases including
belly pain, blood work orders, prescription refills, sick visits,
and low-risk chest pain. Perform triage and patient intake in POD C
(9A-9P) for the waiting room. Address a broad spectrum of acute
conditions within a trauma center. Evaluate and treat patients
presenting with uncontrolled bleeding, sudden or severe pain,
respiratory difficulties, major burns, and other critical injuries
or changes in mental status. Additional Information Board
Certification in Family Medicine is required. Experience with
