(LPN) license and minimum 1 years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A licensed Vocational Nurse
(LVN) position is available to provide dedicated one-on-one care to
an 8th-grade male student with complex medical and emotional needs.
This role requires specialized support for a student managing an
eating disorder and emotional challenges within a middle school
setting. The position is a leave replacement contract, running from
February 17, 2026, through April 2, 2026, with the possibility of
extension. Location: Santa Maria, CA (onsite only)
Responsibilities: Deliver direct nursing care to an assigned
student on a one-on-one basis Monitor and manage medical and
emotional health conditions associated with the students eating
disorder and emotional disorder Collaborate with school staff and
families to ensure comprehensive care and support Participate in an
LVN pool providing coverage for other students as needed due to
absence or urgent healthcare requirements Maintain accurate
documentation of nursing interventions and observations
Qualifications: Current California LVN license required Experience
in mental health nursing highly recommended Ability to manage
complex health needs in a school environment Male candidates are
preferred for this assignment Ability to work independently and as
part of a multidisciplinary team Hours: 32.5 hours per week (7
hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break) This role is
