Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Visalia, CA Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist in Visalia, CA Are you a dedicated OB Hospitalist seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a difference? We are looking for a committed physician to provide exceptional obstetric care in a vibrant hospital setting. Required Skills: MD or DO degree, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Valid medical license to practice in California Proven experience in obstetric and gynecologic care Ability to handle emergent GYN cases independently Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills Ability to manage high patient volumes and multiple emergencies efficiently Nice to Have Skills: Experience working within a laborist program or hospital-based OB team Familiarity with Level III NICU protocols Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Previous experience in community or rural hospital settings Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution At least 2 years of hospital-based OB care experience Familiarity with residency programs involving Family Medicine rotations in OB Other Requirements: 24/7 availability to cover shifts starting December 31, 2025 Willingness to work in a hospital with in-house anesthesia coverage Ability to provide emergent gynecologic care Must meet all licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements Travel and licensing reimbursements as applicable Earn a competitive hourly rate of $234.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
