and promotes their well-being. Key Responsibilities: Your care may
be delivered via face-to-face, telehealth, or video visits, though
this position may require occasional travel to VISN medical centers
or Community Based Outreach Clinics (CBOC). Responsibilities
include ordering diagnostics, consultations, medications, and other
therapies as medically indicated; meeting preventative health
maintenance needs; and completing all required VA computer
documentation, including clinical reminders and screenings, in a
timely manner. The incumbent's assigned duty station will be one of
the sites of care within VA Northern California Health Care System.
Telehealth and/or video visits may only be conducted from sites of
care within the VA Northern California Health Care System or
VA-approved alternate work sites. You may also support the Call
Center as well. Evaluation, including performance of H&P
(history and physical); diagnosis; consultation; and treatment of
adult patients with medical illnesses performed in the clinic
environment, via telehealth, or via VA-approved video modalities
with appropriate support and monitoring. In addition, you may
perform diagnostic or therapeutic joint aspiration/injection, soft
tissue injection, routine women's health (pelvic exam, breast exam,
cytologic pap smear testing, cervical HPV testing), laceration
repair, foreign body removal, abscess incision and drainage,
diagnostic paracentesis, and wound debridement. Care for patients
may be provided via face-to-face, telemedicine, or VA-approved
video modalities. Perform preliminary interpretation of ECG and
radiographic studies, and supervise residents, fellows, and others
