Job Description Care Career is seeking a travel Correctional Mental Health for a travel job in Delano, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Mental Health Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 27 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Duties/Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Accuracy in communications is critical to ensure timely, correct care is provided. Periodically serve as clinician-of-the-day by being available on-call during scheduled workdays for patient emergencies. Apply advanced specialty knowledge, clinical skills, and expertise to assess patients and develop a list of actual and potential needs/diagnoses. Gather health history of patients through interviews with the patient and/or family members. Apply advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise in planning and implementation of patient care. Maintain patient documentation in a prompt and comprehensive manner. Ensure patient calls are returned and follow-ups for referrals are handled promptly. Provide outstanding behavioral healthcare for clients of all ages by collaborating with primary health care providers, specialists, psychiatrists, dependency programs, and other healthcare professionals.
