qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Delano, California, 93215! Pay
Information $2,926 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2
years in specialty required. License: Registered Nurse (RN)
licensure in the state of practice required. Certifications: -
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification required. - Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
certification required. - S.T.A.B.L.E certification required. -
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. -
Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required. Must-Have:
Cerner experience required for all travelers. Description: Delivers
coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of
patients according to established standards of care and the nursing
process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of
assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines
while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory
discretion, and independent judgment. Collects relevant data
pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment
data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan
prescribing interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan,
coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health
and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining
outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient's
situation. Collaborates with a team of patients, families, and
healthcare providers to provide patient care in a safe and caring
environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients, family
members, and team members. Directly provides health information to
patients, families, and treatment team members. Participates in
discharge planning to provide continuity of care. Delegates
appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the
safety and well-being of associates and patients. Requires all
associates to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of
employment. Medical and religious exemptions may apply. This unit
provides antepartum/antenatal and postpartum/postnatal care for
maternity patients and normal newborns. Gynecology patients are
excluded. Note that this department includes labor and delivery.
