Job Description:

*Job Title:* RN ER*Location: *Bakersfield CA*Shift Timing: Days/*Night (12x3)*Hours per week: *36 Hours Per Week*Duration: *13 Weeks*Responsibilities * *Patient Assessment:* Conduct initial assessments of patients medical history, symptoms, and vital signs to determine the severity of their condition. *Triage:* Prioritize patient care based on the urgency of their condition, ensuring that critical patients receive immediate attention. *Administering Medications:* Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring patient safety and monitoring for adverse reactions. *Wound Care and Dressing:* Provide wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and suturing minor injuries, and assisting in more complex procedures. *Monitoring Vital Signs:* Continuously monitor and document vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, etc.), responding to any changes in the patient's condition. *Collaborating with Medical Staff:* Work closely with doctors, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients. *Assisting in Procedures:* Provide support during emergency medical procedures, including intubations, catheter insertions, and other life-saving treatments. *Patient Education:* Provide patients and their families with information about their condition, treatment options, and aftercare instructions. *Maintaining Patient Records:* Document patient care, treatments, and observations in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to ensure accurate and up-to-date patient history. *Handling Medical Equipment:* Properly use and maintain ER equipment such as defibrillators, ECG machines, IV pumps, and other critical tools. *Providing Emotional Support:* Offer emotional support and comfort to patients and families who may be experiencing trauma or high levels of stress in the emergency situation. *Ensuring Infection Control:* Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. *Managing Multiple Patients:* Handle a high volume of patients in a fast-paced environment, providing care efficiently while remaining calm under pressure. *Transporting Patients:* Ensure that patients are safely moved to other areas of the hospital, such as diagnostic imaging or surgery, when needed.*Requirements** BLS* ACLS* RN CA License*Our Core Values are:* We serve faithfully by doing what's right with a joyful heart.
