Our client located in the state of California is looking for a permanent Nurse Coordinator to oversee the Nursing Excellence Program. Reports directly to the Director of Acute Care and Nursing Excellence. Responsible for the pathway to excellence program and ensuring excellence in clinical practice. California RN license. MSN required or needs to be in process. Responsibilities of the RN Coordinator-Nursing Excellence:

• The expert nurse provides leadership and coordination hospital wide including all aspects of pathway to excellence application, designation, and re-designation process.
• The expert leader will assure standards are deployed and evidence-based practice and performance are hardwired into all areas of the organization.
• The coordinator will measure outcomes for nursing quality metrics. The coordinator will facilitate and oversee the preparation of documentation, policies, and research activities related to quality and acquiring and maintaining pathway to excellence designation.
• The coordinator drives the organization to achieve and maintain Pathway to excellence Designation. Minimum Requirements of the Excellence Program Educator/Coordinator:
  • California RN license.
  • MSN required or needs to be in process.
  • 3+ years of acute care clinical experience
  • Experience in leading an organization through pathway to excellence designation or Magnet designation highly preferred.
