Academy's first school opened in Delano in 2009, serving students
from across the Central Valley in grades 6-12. In 2016, we moved to
our new, state-of-the-art college prep campus in Delano, and in the
Fall of 2017, added an elementary school in Delano and opened a
second charter school in Lost Hills. In Delano, we serve over 1,800
students in grades TK-12, while in Lost Hills, we serve almost 400
students in grades K-9 and will grow to serve students through 12th
grade over the next four years.Our fully equipped science labs and
makers spaces ensure students engage in hands-on learning with
access to state-of-the-art technology. Our comprehensive art, music
and athletic programs provide students with the opportunity to
pursue passions outside of academics, and we prioritize health and
wellness as a critical life skill from outdoor classes in learning
gardens and our farm-to-table cafeterias, to our on-campus student
health centers. The Academy aims to provide every opportunity for
our students that often is not found in public or charter schools,
including the ability to graduate from high school with a free
Associate Degree. In addition, all graduates are eligible to earn a
four-year renewable college scholarship through the generous

DescriptionThe role: The Senior Parent Engagement Manager, will
develop, implement, and monitor CCSPP grant services and programs,
approves CCSPP grant expenditures, and ensures compliance with all
CCSPP grant reporting requirements.Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, implement, and coordinate all student, family, and
community services developed under the CCSPP grant for WCPA.
- Approves expenditures and monitors budgets to ensure that
approved expenses are in compliance with grant funding requirements
and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Plan and lead stakeholder meetings with internal and external
personnel, including other administrators, auditors, public
agencies, and community stakeholders for the purpose of
implementing and/or maintaining grant and program services for WCPA
students, parents, and the community.
- Prepare and deliver audit and monitoring reports to ensure
reporting compliance as required by grant providers, and local and
state regulations.
- Collaborate with WCPA senior leadership to plan, design,
implement, and manage programs for all students and families.
- Coordinate activities with a variety of outside services
agencies, school sites, etc. for the purpose of providing referrals
and supports for WCPA families and/or students.
- Design and implement learning opportunities for parents and
staff for the purpose of enhancing home-school communication and
collaboration.
- Serve on a variety of internal and external committees for the
purpose of assisting and/or presenting up-to-date information
regarding student support and family involvement Programs for WCPA
students, families, and the community.
- Compile and analyzes community demographic data for the purpose
of developing programs based off of community needs
- Compile with financial, legal, and/or administrative
requirements, and recommends program enhancements and changes to
improve student outcomes and opportunities.
- Lead team operations, and performs personnel functions (e.g.,
interviewing, evaluating, supervising, etc.) for the purpose of
maintaining adequate staffing, enhancing productivity of personnel,
and achieving objectives within budget.
- Participate in and/or facilitates meetings, workshops, and
seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information,
identifying issues, developing recommendations, supporting other
staff, and serving as the organization representative.
- Research and responds to all inquiries for the purpose of
providing information on student support and family involvement
services for WCPA students.
- Train support staff on programs, services, technology, and
proper procedures for the purpose of managing and improving
individual student learning plans and family
involvementQualificationsJob Requirements-Qualifications:
Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience in community
relations/public affairs, program development, project management,
community organizing, civic engagement or related field.
- Knowledge of community outreach and organizing strategies
- Familiarity with the Central Valley region and existing
relationships within the community (e.g., civic leaders,
- Community leaders/influencers, program partners) desired.
- Fluency in Spanish required
- COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless
candidate has a legally valid exemption.Skills, Knowledge:
- Excellent written communication, interpersonal and diplomacy
skills
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to create dynamic
master schedules
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and multiple stakeholders
simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- A deep personal commitment to education, civic leadership and
community engagement
- Ability to see the big picture with willingness to "roll up
sleeves" and do whatever it takes
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends, and travel
regularly (primarily day trips)
- Manage personnel and programs
- Problem solve; make independent judgments
- Keep and maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, communicate
in oral and written form.

interruptions.
- Physical requirements: Hearing and speaking to exchange
information, make presentations and communicate over the telephone;
seeing to read, prepare, and proofread documents and view computer
monitors; sitting or standing for extended periods of time;
dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and
other office equipment; kneeling, bending at the waist, and
reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, to
retrieve and store files and supplies; lifting light objects;
ability to go to sites apart from primary office to conduct
