Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician I Job Description Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on processing equipment, bottle filling machines, and plastic blow molding equipment. Utilize a good degree of mechanical aptitude to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, such as sensor failures affecting machinery. Responsibilities include changing motors and wiring, and performing MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel. Responsibilities Conduct preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on processing equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform light electrical troubleshooting. Change motors and wiring as needed. Perform MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel. Utilize hand tools such as grinders and drills, and operate forklifts. Comply with OSHA Health and Safety rules. Perform additional duties such as sweeping, cleaning, organizing, bottling, filling, and packaging. Essential Skills 1-2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a production environment. Mechanical aptitude with experience in troubleshooting mechanical issues. MIG welding experience. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with packaging equipment. Bottling and blow molding experience. Work Environment Work within four departments: juice extraction, processing, filling, and plastics, with a focus on bottle filling and molding machines for six different product lines. During the harvest season, expect to work six days a week, 12-hour shifts from 6am-6pm. There are three shifts available: 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm), and 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am). Overtime is common, with a minimum of one day off per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DEL REY, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
