Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled
Cost Accounting Manager to join our manufacturing team in Visalia,
California. In this role, you will oversee the financial operations
of the plant, ensuring accurate cost accounting, budgeting, and
reporting processes. Your expertise will play a critical role in
driving financial insights and supporting the plant's operational
goals. Responsibilities: • Track and analyze plant operations,
delivering insights on key performance indicators (KPIs). • Develop
and maintain standard costs for products manufactured at the
facility. • Prepare and analyze budgets, fixed expenses, and
financial forecasts to support the plant's financial planning. •
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data systems and
reporting processes. • Execute monthly closing activities,
including journal entries, variance analyses, and inventory
reporting. • Provide detailed costing information to support plant
operations and decision-making. • Reconcile assigned accounts on a
monthly basis to ensure financial accuracy. • Assist in
establishing cost standards for new products and processes, driving
innovation and efficiency. • Support the preparation of weekly,
bi-weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review. •
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. • Minimum of 3
years of experience in a Plant Controller or cost accounting role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP
or similar systems. • Strong analytical skills and attention to
detail. • Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and
manage multiple priorities. • Solid understanding of accounting
principles and financial analysis methodologies. • Ability to
effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional
teams. • Experience in manufacturing cost accounting and developing
